    Engineers are motivated to improve our quality of life, and they typically develop new products to achieve this goal. They use several steps in developing new products: design phase, testing phase, and production and maintenance phase.     The Pajaro Valley, in the Monterey Bay area of California, is ideally suited for agriculture.
